MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT

Any group, union, society, association, organisation, community, or even a country where there are no rules and regulations to guide the conduct of its members or citizenry, is bound to fail, as anarchy would become the order of the day.

In order to avoid such a situation here, the authority of this Forum, Soccer Fans Arena Forum, has decided to come up with some simple rules and regulations that would make proceedings here a sane, happy, and friendly one.

MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT

Below are the rules and regulations, which every member of this Forum MUST observe.

  1. You MUST have only ONE (1) account on this Forum. Any attempt, by you, to have two or more accounts will instantly lead to your expulsion from this Forum, as this Forum does not tolerate cheats.
  • After you have registered to become a member of this Forum, you’re expected to log in and provide a detailed profile of yourself. 

You MUST NOT make any post or contribution on this platform without meeting this requirement.

  • You Must NOT post any false information about yourself or about any other person or organisation on this Forum, as this Forum does not thrive or tolerate falsehood.
  • Your IP address is recorded on this platform for official reasons and not to harm you.  Any attempt to deny the authority of this Forum access to your IP will attract an appropriate sanction.

  • This Forum uses cookies to ensure that we give you the best experience here.  By registering to become a member of this Forum, you agree to our use of our cookies.
  • To ensure orderliness and to attract the right responses, you MUST post in the right forum. For example, you’re not expected to make a post meant for the Memory Lane category on the category for Your Favourite Soccer Club & Why It Is So!  

So, resist the temptation to post something off-topic because you think you’ll get ‘better responses’ in the wrong forum.

  • You MUST NOT give your password out to a third party, with the exception of an administrator of this Forum, who needs it for your protection and for validity reasons.

  • You MUST NOT demand the contact information of any member of this Forum, nor use his/her account for any purpose or reason, without his/her express permission or consent. 

  • It is wrong to create a new thread on this Forum, while there’s an existing similar thread.  So, search this Forum to see that there’s no existing thread on the topic of your interest before creating a new one.
  1. You MUST NOT post any material that is false, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually-oriented, threatening, invasive of other members’ or other persons’ privacy, adult material, or otherwise, in violation of any International law.
  1. Posting of censored words, in any form or format, is not allowed on this Forum.
  1. The use of some unofficial English language ‘shorthand,’ like ‘th’ for ‘the’ or ‘that,’ ‘asap’ for ‘as soon as possible,’ is NOT allowed on this Forum, as not everybody is used to such shorthand or abbreviations.

In other words, always spell out your words and write in simple English that every English speaker, especially those who use English as their second official language, would understand.

  1. Making a post in ALL CAPITAL LETTERS (e.g. I LOVE SOCCER) and in unusual or unreadable fonts is NOT allowed on this Forum.

  1. No commercial-oriented posts are allowed here, except on special days to be announced to all members of this Forum.
