When Was CAF Founded?
The Confederation of African Football, CAF, was established on February 8, 1957, in Khartoum, the capital of Sudan, by four African national football associations, FAs, from Egypt, Ethiopia, South Africa, and Sudan.
CAF is the umbrella body that represents the national football associations of Africa.

COMPETITIONS
The Confederation of African Football, CAF, runs Africa’s continental, national, and club soccer competitions, as well as controls the prize money, regulations, and media rights to those competitions.
It took off with its organisation of football competitions in its year of formation, 1957, with men’s national teams Africa Cup of Nations.
